Overview of Ansible for ICX

Ansible is an open-source framework for automating IT tasks such as configuration management, application deployment, and service provisioning. It can be used to accelerate and simplify the deployment of Ruckus ICX switches in a network.

Ansible is an agentless system, which means it does not have to be installed on the ICX devices. Instead, Ansible is installed on a control node, which uses SSH to communicate with the ICX device (managed node). The modules are temporarily installed, run the configured tasks, and are then removed. Ansible requires Python to be installed on the control node.
